Winchester Eagles Ladies team play in their first HVA ladies Grand Prix

Over the weekend, the newly-formed ladies team started their HVA tournament with a bang! Fielding 9 players, we managed to win 2 games, and after losing 2 players to injuries (dislocated knee and slight head concussion!), we unfortunately lost to 2-1 to Southampton VC’s NVL first team. These are our results.
25-18, 25-21 win over Golden Girls
25-11, 25-15 win over Southampton Uni
25-20, 20-25, 6-15 loss to SVC1
2 of our ladies had their first formal match experience, and enjoyed it! The ladies team look forward to a re-match with SVC in the new year.
