Hi all

It has been a while. I hope this finds, you, your family and friends well. The sun is out (for the time being) and Winchester Eagles have re-started their outdoor Volleyball fun evenings on Wednesdays.

We play on the green adjacent to River Park Leisure Centre from 5.30pm until around 7.30 / 8pm. The sessions are free and limited, at this time to 18 people. If you would like to join in, please email me directly or send a message via my mobile number.

In other news and really good news for the club, we have had confirmation from Winchester Leisure Centre that we have two weekly Volleyball slots available to us, once the restrictions lift and our committee agree to commence indoor training.

The sessions will be 8pm-10pm on a Monday evening for the Ladies

and

Wednesday’s 8pm-10pm will remain as the club night.

Further info will follow as we receive it,.

Hi all

I hope everyone is keeping well?

Just a quick update. Obviously the tiering system has thrown a spanner in our plans to restart Volleyball this week.

Volleyball England have not, as yet, issued clear guidelines but I think it is clear enough that we will not be able to restart 3 × 3 until the area is in Tier 1.

Our bookings remain in place and I have not received cancellations from either Kings or Perins.

Watch this space.

Regards

Jon

Hi everyone,

In line with the new Government rulings on the ‘Rule of 6’, our Monday and Wednesday indoor training sessions at Kings and Perins schools have been curtailed for the time being, and therefore it will not go ahead at present.

Alternatively, the club is moving back outdoors on Wednesdays from 5.30pm, at the green next to River Park Leisure Centre, from 30 Sept onwards. We will also be looking to hold Saturday outdoor sessions, to be confirmed within the next few weeks. There will not be any training on Mondays.

We look forward to seeing you all this coming Wednesday!
